BodhiHeart
is a 501(c ) (3) non-profit, Phoenix-based, Tibetan Buddhist
organization founded by Lynda Perlman in 1999 to bring the
teachings of Lord Buddha to Arizona. We also support
the survival of Tibetan culture by offering events such
as the screening of films, guest performers, and exhibitions;
hosting Tibetan monks and visiting lamas; and supporting
the education of Tibetan monks and children. Donations
to BodhiHeart support these projects in both Tibet and countries
of exile.
BodhiHeart
is pleased to have Lama Norbu as a spirirual director. He
is taking BodhiHeart in a new direction, emphasizing regular
practice and teachings. Under his direction, BodhiHeart
is now developing projects in Muli, Kham, southeastern Tibet,
for the restoration of the Maitreya Buddha, which was destroyed
during the Cultural Revolution, and the building of a school
there.
